Genine adopted Ebony the 5-year-old cat in August 2021. He is now called Ebonbon, Bonny-Bee, BomBomBoy, Blepface and sometimes “STOP IT LAH!” especially when he tries to pull out the keys from her laptop keyboard.

As a volunteer with Metta, she saw Ebony living alone in a room behind 2 other cats. He had to be isolated because of his FIV condition. However, this boy clearly loves people and other cats so much that she thought he would be happier in a home environment.

His chronic flu and over-grooming have been a major concern and he’s still being treated for his condition. But apart from that, BomBom has been filling the house with love, cheekiness, and a lot of drool. He especially loves to jump on freshly washed laundry and drool all over them. He also loves to kiss humans’ faces and has even tried to kiss one horrified Deliveroo guy as well. He is the cutest, most affectionate cat ever and now his human regrets not bringing him back earlier.
