Gigi is a sweet, pretty calico cutie. She came to us as part of the “Changi Airport Gang” in 2024.
History:
The “Changi Airport Gang” were found in a warehouse of sorts on the Changi Airport premises by a concerned worker. She was shocked when she discovered many nursing mothers and kittens hiding in the warehouse. Not being very experienced, she tried to feed them and give them water.
However, she realised how dangerous the environment was when one of the kittens got badly injured by some machinery in the warehouse. Although the kitten was rushed to the vet, he passed away from his injuries.
That’s when she called us, and we took in 3 batches of Changi Airport kitties. Gigi, her daughters Sasha and Silky are among them.
Sociability:
Gigi is a loving mama to her 2 girls, but she’s probably looking forward to ‘retiring’ from mummy duties now that her girls are grown and independent! Gigi loves being around humans and being stroked and patted. And because she is still quite young and energetic, she also loves her play sessions. At the same time, she is very easy-going and easy to handle, so she’s great for first-time cat owners.
Health:
Gigi has FELV so she’s suitable for a single-cat household (or she could be adopted with her daughters Sasha and/or Silky!) As long as she is kept healthy and clean and up-to-date with the usual vet check-ups, she can live a joyful, fulfilling life! FELV isn’t a death sentence.
