This gorgeous petite calico is the darling of the shelter - and beautiful inside and out! She is an absolute sweetheart with humans and fellow cats alike. We call her the Nurse Cat with a heart of gold, as she’s often comforted other sick cats, even sitting all night with those who were dying.

Unfortunately, Yan Yan’s health has taken a turn for the worse. She recently tested positive for FELV and FIV, and thus she’s had to be isolated from all her friends. She has been very brave about it and is still very affectionate and attention-seeking to the volunteers who come to clean and feed her!

Sociability: She’s very friendly, very curious, and very sociable. Definitely the cat version of the Most Popular Girl in School.

Health: Yan Yan is FELV and FIV positive. She also had a chronic flu condition (not a serious one) which can be managed, but she needs an experienced, patient and loving adopter who’ll be willing to be an occasional nurse to our Nurse Cat. For now, we hope she can be supported through sponsorships!
