Personality: Very affectionate with people she is familiar with, but she does take time to warm up. Waggy-tailed and likes to give kisses and licks!

Suitable for: A caring family that can spend time to build her confidence and bond with her. Balloon tends to be very nervous in unfamiliar environments, so she will need lots of time, patience and love for her to get used to her new home.

Background: Rescued in 2013 from Choa Chu Kang as a puppy, together with her siblings Bailey and Barnie. They’re looking for homes too! They’ve been at Metta for 10 years… hopefully they will have a chance at a forever family.

Sociability with humans: She takes time to warm up, but is full of licks once she is familiar with you! And once she gets excited, sometimes her tail wags SO FAST that the motion is a blur :D

Sociability with other dogs/ cats: Selective with other dogs, unknown with cats.

Health conditions: Balloon has been exposed to Erhlichia (tick-related bacterial infection, not contagious), otherwise she is healthy. She will need at least half yearly vet checks, to stay on top of her health.

Fun facts: Balloony has a nemesis! There’s one doggo at Metta that she has a hilarious love-hate relationship with - she misses her when they’re apart but she squabbles with her with they’re together LOL! Come see for yourself!
