Ava is the quintessential cool chick tuxedo cat with the most stylish white penguin-style chest bib.

History: We don’t call her a Girl Boss for nothing. I guess you could say Ava self-rescued herself - she ran out boldly into the middle of the road as our shelter owner and administrators Terry and Fiona were in the car heading out to run errands, and sat there cool as you please. Then she got into the car with great dignity and poise and integrated herself into her new home with minimal fuss! We call her Ava cos she was found outside the office of the Agri-food and Vet Authority of Singapore.

Sociability: She is a chill, happy camper who is quite independent and mostly does her own thing, but she also enjoys human company. She likes her cuddles, being picked up and other physical attention but hilariously draws the line at being kissed. Do NOT put your face too close to hers! With the other cats, she’s not super close to them, but she gets along peacefully with them for the most part. (She also seems to be a fan of screens - check out the pics below, all taken on different occasions!)

Health: Ava is FELV and FIV negative, and has been sterilised. She’s been in good health.
